Na \u00e1rea de transportes podemos ter simula\u00e7\u00f5es de processos tais como transbordo e movimenta\u00e7\u00e3o de cargas, simula\u00e7\u00f5es de tr\u00e1fego em rodovias federais ou pequenos peda\u00e7os de malha vi\u00e1ria urbana, simula\u00e7\u00f5es gerenciais reproduzindo o dia a dia de uma empresa de log\u00edstica, dentre outros tipos de simula\u00e7\u00e3o.[:en]Simulation is the technique of studying behavior and reactions of given systems through models. By using the proper software and feeding it with the properties and characteristics of the system being studied, a virtual environment is created. This environment allows for its current behavior to be analyzed, as well as testing scenarios and future options. Due to these characteristics, simulations can also be used for training.
