COMMUTER RAIL: FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR PASSENGER RAIL BETWEEN PELOTAS (RS) AND RIO GRANDE (RS)

The railroad rehabilitation project’s main objective is to evaluate the technical, economic, and financial feasibility and social-environmental benefits deriving from the establishment of regional passenger rail transit system along a 99.3 km route, of which 36 km are duplicated, linking the municipalities of Capão do Leão, Pelotas and Rio Grande (urban area and Cassino).
