REGIONAL PASSENGER RAIL LINES – LONDRINA (PR) TO MARINGÁ (PR)

This rail revitalization project aimed at evaluating the technical and economic feasibility, along with the socio-environmental benefits that would come as a result of the deployment of rail passenger transportation in a stretch of 122 kilometers connecting the cities of Londrina (PR) and Maringá (PR).

A freight rail transportation influence assessment in these areas was made, leading to the conclusion that the best solution would be to build a parallel line on the right of way of the current freight line.
