SINTAQ – INFORMATION SYSTEM FOR WATERWAY TRANSPORTATION

SINTAQ is a computer system developed generally aimed at presenting, in an interactive and summarized way, information from harbor facilities and waterways linked to the ANTAQ (National Agency of Water Transportation).

The system allows viewing information on port facilities (whether those are private ports, transshipment stations, or small-sized port facilities), waterways, and watersheds. SINTAQ also allows direct access to performance data from ports, all from the ANTAQ itself. Through an innovative and highly effective concept, all content is accessed interactively in the form of graphs and maps.

The system also presents a web-based Geographic Information System that can be accessed through multiple browsers.
