SIG-PAC – INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR THE PAC

This system was designed aiming at assisting in the conduction of studies that support the development of guidelines for choosing priorities in construction projects and services related to the PAC (Brazilian Development Acceleration Program). The SIG-PAC allows the construction and visualization of layers corresponding to the layout of roads, railways, and waterways in a study by the Ministry of Transportation.

The SIG-PAC takes into consideration economic and operational impacts, allowing for:

• The optimal allocation network flows;
• The Cross-checking, georeferencing and visualization of data from multiple sources, such as ALICE-Weband IBGE Sidra;
• The prescription of routes of minimal logistical cost;
• Overall cost minimization to meet the demand of a product;
• The simulation of supply chains;
• The exportation of layers for Google Earth.
