PARAMETERIZATION AND SYSTEMATIZATION OF PORT COSTS

The project deals with the development of a large computerized database to support the National Agency for Waterway Transportation (Agência Nacional de Transportes Aquaviários – ANTAQ) with information regarding costs of port facilities, including its construction, equipment acquisition, operation, maintenance, and administration.

The system allows for a quicker and safer analysis of the Studies of Technical and Economic Feasibility (STEFs) of leased terminals, because it provides, in a detailed and updated way, all possible costs in a port enterprise. Therefore, costs are studied for civil works (construction / renovation of infrastructure and superstructure), acquisition and maintenance of equipment, in-house and outsourced labor, direct operating supplies, consultants and others.
