Operational diagnoses of previous and present scenarios of the public public transport system were carried out, including surveys in the field, with the purpose of assessing the level of quality, productivity and scope of services in the municipality, as well as studying costs and establishing financial parameters.

A new model of public transport system was developed and dimensioned, considering the particularities of the municipality, as well as integrating the urbanistic concepts being implemented when the Master Plan was revised.

The elaboration of a tariff calculation manual, the proposition of advanced public transportation system (APTS) systems, the construction of a georeferenced register of the system’s integral infrastructure and the elaboration of the draft public notice, economic and financial modeling and the technical annexes for bidding public transport system in the municipality were part of the scope of this work
