Proposition of socio-environmental guidelines applied to urban mobility within the scope of the Ministry of Regional Development
The general objective of the work consisted of proposing socioenvironmental guidelines, resulting from a strategic analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, in order to direct the planning and performance of the Ministry of Regional Development (MDR), within the scope of the Secretariat National Mobility and Regional and Urban Development (SMDRU), in the search for the improvement and consolidation of socio-environmental themes applied to urban mobility.
Guidelines, lines of action, specific actions and instruments were proposed for implementation in six thematic axes linked to urban mobility: public policies and intersectoral planning; climate changes; socio-environmental management; tecnologic innovation; strategies for financing the sector, and; socio-environmental communication.
The study was carried out jointly with the Brazilian Institute for Development and Sustainability (IABS) and carried out together with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the MDR.
