Waterborne Passenger Transportation – AGETRANS/RJ

The project consisted of carrying out studies to define the new formula for tariff readjustment for the urban waterborne passenger transportation system of Rio de Janeiro.
The existing situation was analyzed as well as the changes in state legislation and the impact of the new tariff policy on the existing concession contract.
The final product was the development of an economic index for the urban waterborne passenger transportation system in Rio de Janeiro (IRT – Tariff Readjustment Index), which has as its principal characteristic the simple verification and calculation.
