STUDIES OF DEMAND AT THE PORT OF ITAPOÁ

Project aimed at the development of demand studies for aiding decision making in future strategic actions at the Port of Itapoá. Socioeconomic data were collected, facilitating the understanding of the movements performed and allowing for the forecast of demand scenarios for the years of 2010, 2015, and 2020.
The studies included: origin-destination (OD) analysis; forecast of demand scenarios; assessment of logistical costs and road infrastructure investments; and simulations and surveys.
