Technologies Developed

Considering the needs related to its research and study activities, Labtrans / UFSC has developed new technologies focused on transport systems and their interactions with Information Technology and Geographic Information System (GIS). Some of these technologies are:

– Framework GIS/Desktop

Mathematical set of functions, intended for use in transport systems.

– Sistema de Processamento de Dados (SPD)

Web tool developed with the main objective of systematizing the data collection, so that this process happens in a remote and distributed way.

– Sistema de Metadados Espaciais

Open source open source library and web interface.

– Sistema Integrado de Informações sobre Desastres (S2ID)

It has the objective of qualifying and giving transparency to the management of risks and disasters in Brazil.

Software that analyzes 3D geographic data on path tracing.
