Urban Mobility Study of Chapecó / SC

This study aimed at developing proposals for urban mobility improvement in the municipality of Chapecó, in the state of Santa Catarina, generating subsidies for the elaboration of its Urban Mobility Plan.

To this end, a diagnosis was made of the existing situation of collective and individual public passenger transport, the freight routes of the main companies of the municipality, parking lots on public roads, road traffic and non-motorized transport (bicycle and pedestrians).

Based on the diagnosis made, guidelines, actions and targets were proposed for each component of the mobility system. Redimensioning and integration of the collective public transport system, humanization of roads, definition of the future cycle network map, definition of public policies for the management of urban mobility, and the establishment of indicators can be mentioned as some of the results obtained through the study.
