Study Along BR 101/RJ

This project chiefly aims at completing a study proposing measures for improving transportation safety and monitoring along the BR-101 Highway between the municipalities of Mangaratiba and Paraty. The project aims at bringing greater mobility and accessibility in the area surrounding the Angra dos Reis Nuclear Power Plant.

The study analysis covers present day up to ten years in the future and considers traffic conditions during normal days and peak summer season. Evacuation scenarios for the region in the case of Emergency Plan execution are also simulated through micro-simulation.
